These is an immense undertaking. D. L. Simmion's  work is beautiful with a ghostly quality.  I have never in my life seen an artist that can push print making like this artist. Simmons has work that is layered incandescent, mixed with acrylics, and oils, chin'colle, French posh ware, if it can be done with prints this artist can make it happen. This artist even has prints that change color in different lighting.

I have seen this piece in person the meshing of print making  and photography is amazing not even mentioning the size. If you have not seen his work DLS-ink is worth looking up the site.

 New work and vision  Side ways  These pieces will be incorporated together. This orange image above    is the first image of a lino-cut reduction. This plate will have a total of around five drops with the last pull of coarse being black. I do tend to layer on top also we will see where that leads me with an ah-ha  moment. The ceramic pieces will fit into the narrative of the print where the viewer will be lead to a meaning but not told. I work with the idea of feeling of being invisible and seen but not heard.    Print making  as an artist we all have things we love to hate and our own trials . One of the biggest things as an artist we face is the vision of what is in our minds eye that we want to create verses the gap of what we actually make with our hands.   Our vision verses reality and as artist we struggle and claw to close the gap.
