I am constructing my art thesis and realizations.

 Art 

        Art is not just what you do it is part of who you are as an artist.  Artworks do not have an age limit or a time limit. There is not an age limit on a goal therefore making art is timeless. Art can be made in a vast array of mediums and can be made of anything. One could be under the belief that all mediums are connected and flow into each other.  Materials are a dance of combinations, and you have to learn the dance to make successful work. There is beauty and struggle between material mingling and process. Art is an exploration and a deep delve into finding ways to manipulate materials and their meanings. The materiality of a piece sometimes helps define a conceptual meaning of an artwork. 

        My work is about projecting the interior emotions onto the exterior of my works. My work is about the struggle within, and a transformation caused by an array of different forms of abuse, emotional Trama, and mental illness whose effects come in the form of low self-esteem and body dysmorphia.  The work veers towards the transcendence of what is being seen on the surface and the invisible transformation that no one else can see but the individual experiencing its effects. Emotion and trauma mold an individual. My artwork is to project these emotions onto the surface of my works. I am doing this from a well of knowledge of life experiences. 

    Materials and processes in artwork can carry different Meanings.  

Clay is a molding experience much like the mind of a child is molded from childhood to adulthood. One of processes heprocess-heavyavy Laiden in my pieces is raku fire it is a brutal and rough process.
